Dynamic range is the driving force of this print. The silver halide chemistry manages a difficult high-contrast scene, balancing the deep, inky navy of the uniforms against the radiant, punchy yellow of the school bus without losing definition in either. The orange basketball serves as a focal point, rendered with a rich saturation that pops against the grey urban canyon. Where digital might flatten the scene, the continuous tone preserves the tactile grit of the asphalt and the subtle atmospheric depth between the players and the background architecture.
Due to the hand-made nature of the printing process, minor color variations may occur.
Each order is prepared with the same attention as the work itself, carefully packed by our team to ensure safe arrival.

Background and History
Paul Baldonado approaches photography with a sense of openness and ease, letting the day guide what he sees. Without a set plan, his process is rooted in attentiveness, responding to what feels right in the moment. His images are less about constructing a narrative and more about presence: being there, noticing, and pressing the shutter when something unfolds. The result is a body of work that reflects the quiet rhythm of observation and the unexpected beauty found in the everyday.
“I just like to go out and take pictures, letting the day guide what I see. There’s no set plan; just paying attention and reacting to what feels right.”
— Paul Baldonado
