Product Description
The skyline looms across the river, seen through a chain-link fence and an overgrown field of picnic tables. Shot during a time when the city’s rhythms fell quiet and the grass grew wild, it captures a rare pause in New York’s endless motion—empty, untended, yet unmistakably alive.

This print is a masterclass in depth of field. The silver halide emulsion creates a tangible separation between the razor-sharp geometry of the foreground chain-link fence and the soft, atmospheric wash of the distant skyline. Where digital sensors often struggle with complex, overlapping patterns (like fencing), the analog process resolves the metallic grid without aliasing, allowing it to float distinctively over the scene.
Due to the hand-made nature of the printing process, minor color variations may occur.
Each order is prepared with the same attention as the work itself, carefully packed by our team to ensure safe arrival.

About
Josh Goldberg photographs like he lives—restless, curious, and allergic to straight lines. A native New Yorker who has wandered far and come back again, he sees the city as both stage and labyrinth, where light, architecture, and chance collide. His images lean into imperfection, chasing the in-between moments that feel both ordinary and impossible to repeat.
