THE SHORT ANSWER
Is Mpix good for film developing?
For color negative film, it’s a solid, low-cost option: $11.95 a roll with standard scans (1037 × 1565), online one to three business days after your film arrives, with your negatives mailed back or discarded, your choice. It doesn’t develop black-and-white, slide, APS, 110 or 126 film.
If you shoot those, want 4K or Pro Scans, or want prints enlarged by hand from your negatives, that’s where a film lab comes in.
